These terms apply when you play The Daily Find, submit an official score or use its sharing and ranking features.

1. Using the game
You may use The Daily Find for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You do not need an account. If you are under 13, you should use the game only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
2. Daily challenges and scores
Challenges, clues, replacement letters and intended setup routes are generated for the applicable London calendar date. We may correct a broken puzzle, dictionary error or scoring fault. A correction can alter or remove affected results.
Your first verified finished attempt on each difficulty is the official leaderboard entry. Practice attempts do not replace it.
3. Fair play
Do not manipulate the game, submit fabricated replays, automate play, interfere with security, create sessions to flood the rankings or attempt to access another player’s data. We may reject or remove scores, restrict submissions or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect players and the integrity of the game.
4. Sharing
The share feature creates text that you can send using your device or a third-party service. You choose whether and where to share it. Services such as WhatsApp and social networks operate under their own terms and privacy notices.
5. Ownership
The Daily Find name, design, game presentation, challenge collection, written clues and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership. Do not copy, sell or commercially exploit substantial parts of the game without written permission.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a fresh challenge every day, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may change, pause or discontinue features, scoring, dictionaries, challenges or rankings. When practical, significant changes will be explained in the game.
7. Responsibility
The game is provided for entertainment. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you began using the service or for business losses arising from personal use of the game.

9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the game develops. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from your next visit.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in the courts where you live and retain any mandatory protections that apply to you.
